This policy describes how we process your personal data when you book your place on Memovia Travel, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR, arts. 13 and 14) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. Data we process and purpose

We process the data you provide in the booking form (first name, last name, the name of your agency and email address) for one single purpose: managing your booking and sending you the associated transactional communications — the email with the payment link and the confirmation of your booking. We do not use your data for advertising, nor do we transfer it for commercial purposes.

3. Legal basis

The legal basis for the processing is the performance of a contract to which you are party, and the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR): processing the booking you yourself request by submitting the form, in accordance with the subscription terms.

4. Recipients and processors

To provide the service we rely on the following suppliers, acting as recipients or processors:

  • Stripe — processor of the booking payment through Stripe Checkout. Stripe processes payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy; we do not store any of your card data.
  • Resend — platform used to send the transactional emails (payment link and confirmation). This service may involve an international transfer of data outside the European Economic Area, covered by the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

No other transfers of data take place, except where legally required.

5. Retention period

We keep your data for as long as the booking is in force and, afterwards, for the periods required by the applicable tax and commercial regulations. If the booking is not completed, the data is kept only for as long as is strictly necessary to manage the process and is then deleted.

6. Your rights

You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction of processing by writing to hola@memovia.co, stating the right you wish to exercise. If you consider that the processing does not comply with the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

7. Automated decisions

We do not take automated decisions and we do not carry out profiling with your data.
